An hourglass is ever so representative of time, and that being all we have, though we don’t know how long that is. With a chronic disability and pain, living can be quite dark at times, and its always trying to seek the light of life that we clutch onto so desperately at times. Like sand through an hourglass, time passes, and we just have to hold on tightly to whatever we have. Where there is darkness there is light, and we get out of life, and time, what we put into it. So trying, and keeping going, and pushing and pouring as much as we can into our own hourglass means we are living life to the fullest, to the best of our ability.
